Children's Ministries at Great Bend First Church of the Nazarene

 
Sunday Shcool
There are exciting Sunday school classes that help children ages preschool through 5th grade, learn and apply God's Work to their daily life.  Children's Sunday School classes meet weekly, on Sunday mornings, at 9:15 a.m.

Children's Church Ministry
On Sunday's at 10:45 a.m., children learn how to be more like Jesus through curriculum designed specifically with them in mind.  (For ages 4 through 5th grade.)

Dr. Naz's Lab
During the school year on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., children will join Dr. Naz's Laboratory and learn about how God cares for and loves them by enjoying a Bible story and an exciting science experiment that goes with the story.  In addition, they will learn basic Bible memory verses, the pledges of allegiance to the Christian flag and the Bible, and the Lord's prayer (Matthew 6.9-13).  (For ages 4 through 5th grade.)

WIGBY Wedensdays in God's Back Yard
Children meet at the church on Wedensday Nights during the summer at 6:30 p.m. for around-town adventures with God.  They've been to places like horse & butterfly farms, and animal shelter, fishing trips and the miniature golf course.  (Parents need to sign a permission slip for WIGBY since the children leave the premisis.) The permission slip is under the Children's Ministries tab.

Children's Drama and Musical Productions
These special, inspiring productions are presented for the entire community by the children's department.  Drams and musicals give the children an opportunity to shine while sharing an eternal message.

Vacation Bible School
A high energy week of fun and spiritual growth each summer for the children of the community.  The VBS productions minister to children and have been noted in the local TV news.

Special Activities
Children can participate in all kinds of fun activities throughout the year, including:  Picnic in the Park, Hay Rack Rides, All Church Parties at the Wetlands Water Park, Holiday parties, and Children's camps.  The church focuses on Family Ministry and offers opportunities for families to worship and participate together throughout the year.
